Running since 2023, qLearn is our flagship weekly lecture series on the basics of quantum computing! No prerequisites needed and open to all, these lectures discuss the field from the ground up. A unique beginner friendly quantum computing hackathon, and series of speaker topics that covers quantum computing and frameworks for quantum computing, hosted by UTQC with the support of IBM! The main goal is to expose students to the quantum world and allow them to experience all the fun that the world of tech offers. Expect techincal workshops, tutorial sessions, activities and challenges between quantum and classical computing, coding with a real quantum computer, and speaker sessions!
UTQC's annual conference that brings together students and industry professionals, aka Canada's largest quantum technologies conference for undergraduate and early-graduate students. Guests come from across Canada and US to talk about their research in different areas of quantum, and available opportunities at their institutes. Also hosts hackathons! Find out more here.
